Diana Quintero
Diana Quintero-Kytlyar is a classically trained violinist who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Stetson University School of Music. She studied under Routa Kroumovitch-Gomez, a student of the legendary violinist David Oistrakh. Diana is currently a graduate student at UCF, pursuing a Master of Arts in Music Performance. In addition to that, she has been accepted as part of UCF’s OPUS scholars program, where she will be performing with the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra for the next two seasons.
Diana has a decade of orchestral experience, and she has carried leadership roles as both principal second and concertmaster.
As a teacher, she pays special attention to technique and the prevention of bad habits. She also likes to guide her students into developing a sense of artistry and emotional involvement in music.
