Prelude Viola strings are a great choice for students because they have increased durability, are affordable and produce a nice, warm sound. They're made using a solid steel core, and packaged in individually sealed pouches to protect from corrosion, and are unaffected by temperature and humidity changes resulting in excellent bow response.
 
We sell them in a full set of 4 strings (C, G, D, A), or as individual strings. It's recommended to keep an extra set on hand because you never know when a string will break, but especially the A string, which seems to break the most.
